Those who pursue a career in medical or healthcare law may work in areas ranging from medical malpractice to healthcare reform. The University of Maryland is located near Baltimore's Inner Harbor and is home to the nation's third-oldest law school. It offers a J.D. program with a concentration in health law, wherein students take classes in health and human advocacy, drug policy and bioethics.
